Hi to all you Curious Canines (and Felines, I guess!),
You’ve all been wondering why the Mrs. and I (and all of our juniors) are so active and lookin’ so good! Well, I’m going to let the cat out of the bag…sorry kitties for the pun! :)
Rumor’s had it that Henrietta squawked the secret recipe that Farmer Peapod has been feeding those chicks in the Cackle Coop, making those eggs so eggs-ceptional and their feathers so pristine. I’ve snitched a morsel of that, and it’s dog-gone good! Well, his daughter, “Sondie” (as his grandgirls call her), deserves the ap-paws for our shiny coats and stamina! She concocted a paws-itively purr-fect (that should tickle your “punny” bone, kits!) palate for us pups.
Junior told me that one day “Sondie” was yelping about how ruff most dogs have it; that they are fed hard dog food with GMO corn, soy, and things that make them die (or maybe it had dye in it). It didn’t sound good!
Then “Sondie” went on about how much she wants us to be healthy and barked out her secret recipe!
Steps:
• “Sondie” begins with hot bone broth that she makes with the Clear Conscience Pet SuperGravy PawJus or from scratch. I just love her scratches! She knows how much we love bones, though, and how healthy they are for our teeth and bones.
• Then she adds organic ingredients from Azure: rolled oats, rye flakes, cornmeal, wheat bran, a little barley flour, and some grated carrots, chopped collie-flour (oops, cauliflower, the Mrs. corrected me), and zucchini. “You have to eat your veggies,” she says.
• Yummy morsels of meat are added for that extra protein we need, and some sunflower oil or tallow is also mixed in for our skin, fur, and brain. She wants to keep us soft and smart!
Once this cools and becomes thick, “Sondie" spoons out our daily portion and adds a few of Henrietta’s eggs, a few sprinkles of SuperGravy Alfredo or Bon A’ la Goat Food Topper with all the added vittles we need, some pumpkin seed oil to keep away the parasites, and thins it down with Butterscotch’s slurp-sational milk (she’s the family milk cow with the creamiest milk).
Doesn’t that just make you drool and want some?! As soon as she opens the door to bring it out to us, we come running! Howl you’d love the sniff of it! Even our playful pups can’t wait to sink their baby teeth into it. It’s so tender and easy for them to chew. They look so roly-poly, plump, and healthy! You just want to cuddle them!! “Sondie” is our fur-ever friend!!

“Sondie’s” Homemade Dog/Cat Food
Bring to Boiling: 1/2 gallon of bone broth and/or water (MT865)
Turn off heat and stir in: 4 cups organic rolled oats and/or rye flakes (CE065 & CE093),
1 cup organic cornmeal (FL013),
3/4 cup organic wheat bran (CE602),
1/4 cup organic barley flour (FL086),
1/4 cup organic grated carrots (QP165),
1/4 cup organic grated zucchini (QP336),
1/8 cup chopped cauliflower (QP130),
3/4 cup sunflower oil or tallow (OL275 & OL415),
1 cup ground beef, chopped chicken, or turkey
Once mixed together, cover and let cool. Keep refrigerated.
Take out a portion for the puppy/dog and add 1-3 eggs (DP100) and 1-2 cups whole milk (DP571), depending on the size dog.

Mix well and feed to puppy/dog raw, or it can be baked on a cookie sheet in the oven for dry dog food/dog treats.
