Bringing Abundance to a Wider Culture
Dear Family, Friends, and Customers,
As the leaves fall and the land begins to settle in for the cooler months of the year, during this time of thanksgiving I’m inspired at how far we’ve come. November is the wrap-up of the harvest season here at Azure, and we’re grateful for this year’s very bountiful harvest. Our farm is a farm of abundance because we are living a life of abundance.
Obviously God brings the harvest, but that doesn’t mean it’s not without work on our end. There is a process to producing an abundant crop — we’re planting, we’re weeding, we’re tending, and we’re making sure the soil is properly fertilized and filled with nutrients. The harvest is not automatically given because of our labor, but it is much more likely to happen when we tend our crops — and our lives — well.
Tending our crops and lives requires constant cultivation of improvement, and the growth of Azure Standard is no exception. We are always striving to better serve our customers by improving our practices. In attending conferences and shows, I have talked to people who have heard of Azure but don’t order currently because they have a rigid schedule or personal obligations that prevent them from making it to the drop point on time.
Drops are a wonderful way to get people together who want to eat healthy and live abundantly, and we want to expand this experience and community to folksacross America. This is the mindset behind a project that I am very excited about — Azure Standard’s new Drop-to-Home program.
Each drop day, a Drop-to-Home driver will pick up orders from the drop and drive them directly to people’s homes. This means more healthy food can reach people who would otherwise be unable to order from Azure. Once the driver has agreed to take responsibility for a certain area, the website for that specific area will have a “Drop-to-Home” option (but if no option shows, the service is not yet available for that area). Drivers can be any age as long as they have a driver’s license, a clean, reliable vehicle, and are willing to work with our team to set an equitable amount to charge customers upfront for this service.

We are thrilled to bring the Azure abundance to a wider community through this leap of improvement! The abundance of our life is the result of the amount of work we put in guided by energy and knowledge. We can expend all our energy trying to cultivate the soil or work on a project, but if we do not put the proper nutrients in the soil or learn the techniques (or test out our Drop-to-Home program before rolling it out), we won’t have a harvest of value. It’s the inspiration and the perspiration that are absolutely critical to grow a beautiful crop, and this is true in any area of life. If we truly want to grow, living life with a mindset of abundance is the key to achieving our dreams and building up our communities.
